Atina Glow Initiatives
A public health NGO that was established in 2018,dedicated to advocating for the diabetics and prevention of the disease in the country. It was started with the aim of sustaining livelihoods of diabetic patients and reducing the incidence cases. The organization brings out a platform for the persons living with Diabetes, working together with a team of health professionals all advocating for healthy lifestyle. With the growing increase of cases of diabetes worldwide, we would wish to embark on strategies to reduce the disease burden hence in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 3.


Functions Of The Organization

1.To engage community members in health and development initiatives through exploiting opportunities and activities available in the community.

2. Acting as a linkage with other government institutions that are closely associated with health promotion in the community especially in the area of prevention and management of non-communicable diseases.

​ To become a leading organization working towards promotion of healthy lifestyles and management of persons living with diabetes and other non-communicable diseases in Uganda.

To contribute to the reduction of Diabetes and other NCDs burden and provide optimum healthcare for people in Uganda.
